ThriveRx: Faculty & Resident Wellness and Development Program
Building Physician Resilience, Preventing Burnout, and Elevating Health
At ThriveRx, we believe that physician well-being is the foundation of exceptional patient care. When we address stress at its root, we optimize health, preserve energy, and prevent burnout. That’s why we created a comprehensive solution designed specifically for medical faculty and residents—integrating cutting-edge science, practical training, and sustainable strategies for a thriving medical community.
Why ThriveRx?
Stress is the root cause. Burnout, emotional exhaustion, and disengagement often begin with chronic stress.
Whole-person approach. True wellness requires addressing the mind, body, and professional identity of the physician.
Built for physicians, by a physician. Our programs are designed by Dr. Ali Novitsky, a board-certified physician and Master Certified Coach, who understands the unique demands of medical training and practice.
By targeting stress first, we create the foundation for lasting change in nutrition, fitness, and overall healthspan.
What’s Included in the Program
1. Stress Rx Program: A Nervous System Solution for Individual Burnout and Systemic Renewal
[REVIEW OUR FULL CURRICULUM HERE]
Stress Rx™ is a neuroscience-based system that helps physicians decode their unique stress patterns, transform relational friction, and recover sustainable energy from the inside out.
It’s not just about surviving another shift—it’s about creating systems of trust, emotional fluency, and shared humanity, where leadership begins with nervous system literacy.
When Physicians Learn to Regulate, Teams Start to Thrive
This isn’t just burnout prevention. It’s the foundation for emotionally intelligent medicine. By understanding stress subtypes—and how they interact with others—teams can co-create environments where:
Boundaries are respected
Feedback is constructive
Conflict is navigated with clarity
Compassion doesn’t cost everything
Every voice—quiet or assertive, anxious or confident—feels heard
Stress Rx™ equips leaders, educators, and care teams with a shared language for regulation, empathy, and cohesion.
2. Nutrition Training & Obesity Prevention
[REVIEW OUR FULL CURRICULUM HERE]
We created this program because it’s time for physicians to reclaim one of the most powerful tools of healing: nutrition. For too long, it has been treated as an afterthought in medical training, when in reality it is the foundation of health. By combining practical nutrition strategies with cutting-edge longevity science, this program fills the gap and gives physicians what they need to truly lead, heal, and thrive in modern medicine.
Why This Training Isn’t Just Helpful — It’s Non-Negotiable
Medical education prepared us to prescribe medications, but not to prescribe health. Nutrition was a footnote in med school, yet it’s central to the prevention and treatment of chronic disease. Obesity, diabetes, and heart disease begin on the plate—and the opportunity to transform patient health begins there too. This program ensures physicians finally have the education their patients assumed they already had, and the confidence to use it.
Patients don’t want generic handouts or the latest fad from social media; they want practical, trustworthy advice from their physician. With this training, you’ll be prepared to deliver exactly that—personalized recommendations based on lifestyle, culture, age, gender, and medical conditions. You’ll become the physician who “gets it,” building trust, credibility, and stronger patient outcomes.
And this isn’t just about patients. This program helps physicians eat, feel, and function at their best. It builds collaboration with dietitians, strengthens multidisciplinary care, and keeps you ahead of evolving nutrition science—cutting through fads, false claims, and internet noise with authority.
Prevention saves more than lives—it saves time, energy, and system resources. By integrating nutrition and obesity prevention into your practice, you won’t just improve individual outcomes, you’ll move the needle in public health at scale.
In short: Nutrition is the gateway to reversing disease, restoring health, and sustaining both patients and physicians alike. That’s why this training isn’t optional anymore. It’s essential.
3. Total Fitness Program: Fitness That Fits Your Life
[REVIEW OUR FULL PROGRAM HERE]
At The FIT Collective, we know life is full—careers, families, and endless responsibilities often leave little room for fitness. That’s why we created The Total Fitness Program: a solution designed for real people who want powerful, time-efficient workouts that seamlessly fit into even the busiest schedules.
This isn’t about gimmicks or quick fixes. It’s about sustainable transformation through evidence-based strength training that enhances your health span, not just your lifespan.
What the Research Shows
A meta-analysis of 16 studies involving 1.5 million participants found that just 30–60 minutes of weekly strength training reduces the risk of all-cause mortality, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and diabetes by 10% to 20%. Beyond an hour per week, benefits plateau—proving remarkable results don’t require endless gym time.
The optimal dose for longevity is 30–60 minutes per week. More isn’t always better; exceeding 130 minutes may not provide additional benefits and can even increase risk.
Just 90 minutes per week has been linked to 3.9 fewer years of biological aging, as measured by telomere length—showing strength is not only physical, but also cellular.
Strength Training on Your Terms
The Total Fitness Program delivers high-impact workouts right into your home—no gym membership or fancy equipment required. With guided options at 10, 20, and 30 minutes, you can mix and match to meet your weekly goals of 30, 60, or 90 minutes—all with the flexibility your life demands.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan. It’s a fully curated, year-long training program that adapts to your needs. Whether you’re starting fresh or building on an existing routine, you’ll find the support, challenge, and results you need at every level.

Nice to Meet You!
Hi, I’m Dr. Ali Novitsky, a triple board-certified physician in obesity medicine, pediatrics, and neonatology, and the founder of The FIT Collective®. Over the past eight years, I’ve partnered with physicians and healthcare leaders to transform their health, strengthen resilience, and cultivate sustainable habits that ripple into both their personal and professional lives.
As a physician, coach, and exercise strategist specializing in metabolic health and stress physiology, I’ve seen firsthand how wellness and leadership development go hand in hand. When faculty and residents feel strong, supported, and equipped with stress-regulation tools, they not only thrive personally but also elevate their teaching, mentorship, and patient care.
This program was created in response to what so many colleagues and institutions have asked for: a formalized framework that integrates physician wellness, faculty development, and stress resilience training—all built on the science-backed strategies of my Stress Rx curriculum. By combining evidence-based nutrition, exercise, and mindset practices with leadership and professional growth tools, ThriveRx supports physicians and residents in building both vitality and career longevity.
Through ThriveRx, you’ll learn how to:
Develop advanced stress tolerance skills for high-stakes environments.
Build sustainable wellness habits without adding to your workload.
Strengthen leadership and teaching effectiveness through self-regulation.
Integrate fitness, mindset, and professional growth strategies into daily practice.
At The Fit Collective®, we bring both real-world strategies and rigorous science to our program. Our mission is to create a culture where wellness and development are not “extras” but core elements of being an effective, compassionate, and thriving healthcare professional.
ThriveRx bridges the gap between wellness and leadership—empowering faculty and residents to show up as their healthiest, most resilient, and most impactful selves.
Why ThriveRx Works for Institutions
We understand the demands placed on faculty and residents. Time is scarce, burnout is real, and wellness initiatives often fail because they feel like “one more thing” added to an already overburdened schedule. That’s why ThriveRx was designed to work with the reality of physician life, not against it.
We take a tremendous amount of information—the latest neuroscience on stress, cutting-edge nutrition science, and evidence-based fitness research—and make it digestible, practical, and immediately usable. Everything is distilled into short lessons, efficient workouts, and real-world strategies that physicians can apply between patients, during a quick break, or at home in just minutes a day.
And for institutions, implementation is effortless. Through our custom Fit Collective App, ThriveRx is truly plug-and-play:
Faculty and residents access everything in one seamless platform—training modules, workouts, nutrition tools, and CME-eligible content.
No need for complicated rollouts or heavy administrative lift.
Scalable across departments, cohorts, or entire residency programs.
Flexible enough to meet accreditation requirements while adapting to the unique culture of each institution.
With ThriveRx, you’re not just checking the box on wellness—you’re embedding a sustainable, science-backed system that strengthens resilience, improves health, and supports retention.
Your physicians are your most valuable resource. ThriveRx helps them thrive—while giving your institution a turnkey solution that delivers lasting impact.
